The Team

Bruce Holbert- (President/Founder) Started Bruce Environmental Inc in March of 1993 as an asbestos removal company. BEI originally focused on the residential market but as BEI's reputation grew we were asked to provide services to other markets. In 2001 he began offering Mold Remediation Services. Bruce has served as a Senior Estimator, Field Manager and Project Manager.His Education includes, The Environmental Institute, Video Aire Enviro Mold IAQ Services, The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Ashland Community College.

Jon Wilhite- Vice President since 1998
Jon has 20 years of experience in the Environmental industry.  Jon started out as a Field Supervisor, then was promoted to sales.  Since he has been with BEI he has expanded our company base to include large companies, colleges, and insurance companies.

Tony Smith has been in the environmental industry since 1985. His experience includes safety product/equipment design and manufacturing, consulting and environmental remediation.

Terry Bacorn has joined Bruce Environmental, Inc. He comes to us with over 24 years of experience in the abatement and remediation industry. Having worked, at Prisons, City, County, State, Federal Buildings, Schools, Universities and Hospitals doing asbestos and lead paint removal. He’s also trained in mold remediation and the proper removal and recycling of fluorescent bulbs, PCB containing lighting ballasts and mercury containing thermostats. Terry is an AHERA Certified Asbestos Inspector and can perform Inspection Survey Reports that are mandated by EPA and Georgia EPD regulations when remodeling or demolition occurs.   In an ever changing Environmental Contracting occupation, Terry has become adept in using FedBizOps, Georgia Procurement, iSqFt, The Blue Book, LDI and General Contractor’s in-house plan rooms to acquire bidding opportunities. He will work closely with you on any projects your targeting. Providing a through, organized proposal detailing the required Scope of Work necessary in the Division 2 specifications and drawings
